Wow, it seems like its been so long since I've posted here. I can't believe it's already September. I've got papers to write and projects to complete and I just wish that it could be summer again. But in December. Its too humid right now. Ugh. The upside is that all the new shows are starting up and stuff, which I am really grateful for. I couldn't live my life on Friends reruns no matter how much I enjoy them. Well, maybe I could. Staring at Matthew Perry isn't that bad...
Anyway, I decided that my new show this year will be the new 90210. I was hesitant to watch it at first because teen dramas never really appealed to me but I decided to give it a chance. Turns out I really like it. I'm really interested in where the whole Annie/Ethan/Naomi triangle looks real interesting and I'm definitely loving Silver's character. Oh! And I really love seeing Jennie Garth. She's so great. So, yeah, I'm looking forward to more of this show.
Bones came back on Wednesday and I, like many other fans, had definite mixed feelings. The episode seemed very unrealistic and seemed like it was changing from a great crime-solving drama to a crappy comedy. All of Booths attempts at jokes and his hatred of England was incredibly annoying. It was cute the first three times but after he was beating up the little car, they should have just left it. Sure a good joke is nice now and then and the sexual tension between B/B is great but don't overuse it, especially in the first episode of a season that's coming back after a questionable finale. And ranting aside, I'm still looking forward to seeing how the writer's expect to play out the whole Angela/Jack thing because I'm really pissed they broke up. I'm most definitely anticipating the rest of this season, especially with the talk of B/B in bed together...
I'm still waiting on the Heroes premiere, 15 days left, to decide whether or not I'll continue watching it or not. There's so many characters and so many connections and so many plots that I'm not sure I'll be able to remember it all. I love being able to see Milo every week though, so that will most certainly be a factor in my decision. Hopefully I'll be able to understand everything going on and be able to keep up with it though. It really is a great show.
My most anticipated season arrivals however, are on the same night at the same time, which in all honesty sucks. Grey's Anatomy and The Office, both only about 18 days away! A-whoo-hoo!!! I know for sure that I'll be watching Grey's and taping The Office though because I just can't wait to see what'll happen next. These promos they're giving us are driving me crazy to think of how everything will play out. Rose telling Derek she's pregnant with his baby!!! WTF!! This can't be true, not just because I am a diehard Mer/Der shipper but because it's just stupid! But seeing Meredith tell Derek that he's moving in with her is looking great (if you over look the whole Rose situation). But what is with that scream at the end of the first promo? And what is this about Denny coming back? Is it Denny? Possibly Denny's long lost twin brother? Always expect the unexpected when watching Grey's....
Lastly is The Office. I've been dying to fulfill my Dwight fix. And I can't wait to see how the whole Andy/Angela/Dwight thing is gonna work out. I mean, she's engaged to Andy (no matter how unenthusiastic she is about it) and she's messing around with Dwight!! I can't wait to just see Angela tell Andy off. That is certainly something I'm looking forward to. And also Jam. Oh how I am missing them. And with Pam in NY how exactly will this affect her and Jim? When will he be able to propose? And what about Holly? And Jan? Oh how I am looking forward to seeing my favorite comedy again.
And what, only 4 months till Lost returns? Yay!
Now I'm off to finish my boring History paper on the depressing lives of the nineteenth century children working in factories.
